IMG_7625.jpeg

Lee Norris is a native New Yorker, and later, a transplant from Portland, Maine to Portland, Oregon. She is an English Country dancer, choral singer (Portland Christmas Revels), recorder player (Medieval and Renaissance music), avid reader, gardener, mother and grandmother.

She and her late husband served in the Peace Corps in their sixties and seventies, in Moldova. They went on to teach in the Czech Republic, and travel throughout Europe via home, WWOOF, and work exchanges. Recent travels took her to Bosnia to sing with Village Harmony, a choral organization. A writer and journalist for much of her life, Lee has published work in The New York Times, Washington Post, Boston Globe, Literary Bohemian, Passager, The Gettysburg Review, Persimmon Tree, and other publications.
